In 1986 Mary Beth, my wife, and I bought our real estate business. Shortly after that I obtained a real estate license and embarked in new endeavor. In the early years of our business I was quite active in real estate. I am a graduate of Kansas State University. Following graduation I attended Basic Training at Ft. Riley and Intelligence School at Ft. Holabird, MD, then was attached to 108 CIC Detachment. Along with my life long business of farming and ranching, I kept quite busy. I specialize in Agriculture Property Sales (Pasture and Farm ground).

The real estate business has been a very satisfying business and a great experience. I began my real estate business in 1979 and in 1986 decided to buy a Real Estate business.
After purchasing the office with my husband, our daughter upon graduating from Kansas State University, joined us in business. A few years later, our son, John, upon graduating from Kansas State University, also joined in the business. As a family business, I feel that we can better serve our customers. We work as a team. It is extremely satisfying for our family to assist the many clients and customers that we have served and continue to serve through the years.
I have been involved with all phases of the real estate business, residential, commercial and agricultural sales, planning & developing, building new homes and the rental business. With my wide range of real estate knowledge, my expertise in the business will be helpful to all of our future clients and customers. I look forward to assisting you with either the sale of your property or your next real estate purchase.
My additional activities are: Various involvement with my church, my family, extensive traveling with my husband and family, and assisting my husband in his business.

(2009) Two Thousand nine marked my 25th year working side-by-side w/my mother in our family real estate business. One year following graduation from Kansas State University, I obtained my license as a real estate agent and with in a couple of years obtained my associate brokers license. The real estate business offers many challenges that I thoroughly enjoy. My strongest passions are assisting buyers in finding a mortgage w/the-lowest interest rate and least closing cost, finding the perfect home at an affordable cost, assisting sellers in the quickest sale possible. In addition, I have general contractor’s license w/the City of Manhattan. Building speculative homes, custom, and remodeled existing homes is also a passion. The largest and most fun construction project I was involved with was the building of an apartment building for my husband and I, a brother and his wife. Through the knowledge gained in the step by step of construction projects, I feel better able to serve my real estate clients and customers in their purchases.
My real estate customers and clients truly mean a great deal to me! I treat each deal as if it was my own purchase or sale.
My grandmother Irvine (Rose Cunningham Irvine) graduated from Kansas State in 1923. While she and her seven of nine brothers & sisters attended K-State, her father purchased a home located in Downtown Manhattan for the children to live in while attending K-State. This business decision, though years ago has had an effect on my real estate ideas and decisions. Making property purchases is always a good decision, whether short term or long term. I would be glad to assist you in your next purchase or sale.
Additional activities include: Church, After-school board member at Northview Elementary, Travel, Walking—especially at our pasture, Biking, Socializing with family and friends, Kansas State University Alumni member.

Being a Kansas product, I learned the value of honesty and integrity early in life.  After graduating from KSU, my wife and I returned to my hometown where I spent 18 plus years in the banking business.  During this time, we bought and made improvements on a variety of properties.
Relocating to Manhattan, several years ago allowed us to reside closer to family and join my Son-in-law’s family business Irvine Real Estate. We are excited to become a part of this special community again.  My wife is an elementary school teacher, and I am involved in a local Lions Club, as well as, Council of Civic Organizations.
I enjoy serving the Manhattan area with all real estate needs.  Understanding personal housing desires and finding the perfect match whether buying or selling is always my goal.
